Plein Air: Landscapes Workshop

Two-Day Intense Workshop. Simplifying plein air painting to capture a sense of natural light and atmosphere as stand alone work or studio reference. Oil, pastel, or watercolor. Participants will learn to see “painterly”: converting what one sees to simple marks in a variety of media and recognizing the visual elements that matter to picture making.

Class Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a lunch break from noon – 1:00 PM.  Bring a sack lunch or order from a local restaurant.

Location: Class location will be determined by the instructor the week prior to class. John will notify students by phone or email.

Class Fee: $225. per student

Class Size: 3 minimum / 10 maximum
