Beginning Whittling

Have you ever wanted to be able to sit down with a stick and a knife and just whittle something? If so, this course is for you! During this course you will learn basic carving techniques to take small branches and limbs to make things like mushrooms, gnomes and little birds, all with a single knife. You will learn safe techniques and tool maintenance so that you can whittle wherever you are! This course is designed for students ages 9 and up. Students between the ages of 9 and 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
