Farley Lewis

Farley earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Missouri State University in 1985. Shortly after graduating he started and ran a sign shop and graphic design studio, which included illustrations, paintings and murals, and later some mural work for Bass Pro Shops. He went full-time as a landscape artist in January of 2018. Farley competed in his first plein air competition in the Spring of 2018, where he won several awards, including second place overall in acrylics. In the first two years as a full-time landscape artist he competed in nine plein air events, winning awards in eight of them, including three Best of Shows. Working in the studio and plein air, Farley also teaches painting classes and workshops. He lives with his amazing wife Kelly in Springfield, Missouri.
