Dolly Donhauser

Dolly Donhauser has taught knitting for over eight years at the At Home store in Fairfield, Iowa. An avid knitter since childhood, she is a passionate fiber artist specializing in mastering new techniques and problem solving. She has offered assistance to all levels of knitter through a clinic in the At Home store.
 
Her background in graphic design and product development have given her a chance to bring these skills to her teaching. Lots of good handouts give the student everything needed to take away a solid exposure to details for knitting success. She has taught many different types of knitting including brioche, mosaic, slip stitch, lace of many varieties, chart knitting, modular, short rows, möbius cast on, sock knitting, intarsia, fair isle and more!
 
She is currently designing patterns to encourage support for growing locally raised and spun wool fiber that is becoming more readily available and a joy to work with. Dolly is planning a series of skill building classes that are fun to learn and keep the students interest lively.
