Letterpress: Beginners

Letterpress printing is a relief printing process created by equipment that was specifically built for printing text (letters). This class will introduce you to this tactile process, equipment, and variations on the process. Learn what press to use, paper to select, and how to prepare your inks for various print projects. We will be covering the basics and you will be taking home several of your own prints. Do not wear nice clothing, bring rubber gloves if you need. Class will be held in an actual letterpress print shop.
