Stained Glass for Beginners: Cardinal

Learn the basics of stained glass ornament making in this short 2-3 hour beginners class as you make a male cardinal ornament.  A unique gift for yourself or your favorite bird lover.

Glass pieces will be precut and edges smoothed so you can jump right in.  You will be dealing with fine details and reflective surfaces so be sure to bring your eyeglasses or readers. Class is set up in the morning so students can enjoy a nearby lunch and an afternoon of shopping or hiking in one of our many parks.

Note: 12 and young must have adult supervision. 13-18 years of age can apply for a youth scholarship. Simply click on “Youth Art” on the home page and send in application.
