Sculpture Portrait in Three Dimension

Taking another element from the Earth, Chris Bennett uses clay, to capture human figures and animal wildlife in his sculptures. He carefully observes the relationships of his subjects to capture their essence. Students will be able to learn the basics of clay sculpture in a dedicated studio in historic Bentonsport from an accomplished artist and instructor.

Dates: June 22-23, 2013
September 21-22, 2013 

Location: The white Township Hall building in Bentonsport on Des Moines Street.

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, with lunch break.

Class Fee: $ 275. per student, includes 16 hours of instruction, all supplies, tools, model fees, and photographs. Additional cost for firing of clay sculpture, if desired.

Class Size: 6-12 students

Course inclusions:

Course exclusions: The finished product will not be made of a permanent display material. Students may keep their project as is or make a commitment to another class to finish the portrait in a permanent material.
