Learn how to knit and discover the fun and fascination of creating your own hand knit scarf with this relaxing craft. In the class you will learn the essential skills for beginner knitters: knit and purl stitches, casting on and binding off, creating a gauge swatch, fixing mistakes and finishing. A ball of yarn and two knitting needles are all you need to begin!

Class starts at 10am, breaks noon to 1pm for lunch, and continues till 3pm.

Materials you need to bring for 7” x 45” scarf:

-350 yards of worsted weight yarn in wool or wool blend

-Knitting needles: US8 straight or circular

-Darning needle

-Scissors
