Letterpress printing is a relief printing process created by equipment that was specifically built for printing text (letters). This introductory class will introduce you to this tactile process, equipment, and variations on the process. Learn what press to use, paper to select, and how to prepare your inks for various print projects. We will be covering the basics and you will have the opprotunity to print several coasters to take home and use or offer as gifts. Relaxed, fun, environment. Apron and gloves are available- just show up. Class will be held in an actual letterpress print shop.
